Save the date! 50 YEAR CLASS REUNION 

SEPTEMBER 12-13

BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS

UPON RECEIVING THE FOOTBALL SCHEDULE FOR THE BATESVILLE PIONEERS, IT HAS BEEN DECIDED THAT THIS IS THE BEST WEEKEND FOR OUR CLASS REUNION.  THE PIONEERS PLAY SEARCY AT HOME ON FRIDAY NIGHT, SEPTEMBER 12.  GARY ANDERSON IS RESERVING A NEW PAVILLION AT PIONEER STADIUM FOR US TO MEET BEFORE ATTENDING THE FOOTBALL GAME TOGETHER.

WE HAVE TENTATIVELY PLANNED THE FOOTBALL GAME ON FRIDAY NIGHT, A BRUNCH SATURDAY AND THEN DINNER AT JOSIE’S ON THE RIVER ON SATURDAY NIGHT.   AS WE SAID THESE ARE NOT SET IN STONE.  IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS, WE CERTAINLY WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

WE HAVE HEARD FROM MANY OUTSIDE THE STATE THAT ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND AND NEEDED THIS DATE ASAP, IN ORDER TO MAKE THEIR TRAVEL PLANS.  I HOPE THOSE OF YOU NEARER TO BATESVILLE WILL PLAN TO ATTEND ALSO. 

WE WILL SEND YOU FINAL PLANS WHEN WE HAVE THEM.

PUT THIS DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR AND PLAN TO SEE YOUR OLD (long-time ) FRIENDS!!!!

Donations at the Reunion: We will have a donation basket available during the reunion. We had a $100 balance from the 40th reunion. That amount has disappeared rather quickly. Brenda (McClure) Terral has borne the brunt of additional expenditures for the following items: postage for mailing announcements to class members and invitations to former teachers, name tags, the reprinting of an updated class booklet and travel cups that will serve as mementos of the reunion. In addition, Brenda will purchase snacks for Friday evening. We will not have a set amount for donations. Donate whatever you can. Any remaining funds will be used for the (being optimistic) 60th reunion.
