The reason for the date that we chose is because several of our classmates have moved away and have children who are of the school age. It is set for the weekend before Thanksgiving, therefore, those with children who would probably be "Coming home for the holidays" would be able to attend. We also took into account the LSU football schedule, there is no game scheduled for the weekend that we planned for, and high school football games are on Fridays, so those won't interfere either! We looked at many different dates, however, this is the one that we felt was best!
