what a cool idea! who has any thoughts of where to plan the party? Should we go for an open field-ha, or move to a hotel reception hall for the event. Who all wants to help plan this thing? Remember no running when the cops show up.
Alright ladies and gentlemen (and I use those words loosely), Beth Browder has checked out a few places for us to have our party and has found us a pretty good deal on renting out the balcony of the Varsity at LSU. But we need to how many people are going to be able to attend and we need to know before February 28th. They are going to hold it for us until then. At that time we need to give them a deposit and a guesstimate as to how many people. How much we have to give them depends on how many are coming. So check your calendars then email me, Nicole Ragsdale, or Beth Browder to let us know how many will be in your party so we can keep track of the numbers. Once we have all the numbers crunched we will be able to let everyone know what the cost is going to be. We are thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of $35-$50 per person and likewise $70-$100 per couple but again, its all based on numbers. So start thinking July 17, 18, 19. Let us know. like old times -- should we go get a couple of kegs ? collect $2 from everyone ? and drive around with $400+/- in the glove-box of my truck and think we are rich again ??
Hey Mark! What a great job you've done with this site. I was just told about it, and since I'm 2000 miles away, I unfortunately wont be able to attend the reunion. The one reunion I said I'd never miss, and I have to miss it.
I hope there is a great turn out, with LOTS of pictures to share with those of us that cant make it.
