I am sorry to be the one to bring bad news, but Leon Torregrossa passed away today of a apparent heart attack. His sister Magarette just called me and gave me the news. Leon was married and had two children. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Leon is my first cousin and the last time I saw him was at one of our Aunt's funerals about two months ago. He hasn't changed since high school. He was always a happy person that loved his friends and family. My prayers are with all my cousins and Aunt Ann (his mom). Love ya Leon and we will miss ya. Tell my little brother, Lloyd hello for me. Your cuz, Faye
We will be thinking and praying for you all during this very difficult time. One of my fondest memories that many will be able to relate too is Leon’s grin (sometimes referred to as a “smirk”). He could brighten up a room with his “boyhood mischievous” grin. When he gave you that grin you started wondering “what he was up too and how much it was going to hurt!”
I am so saddened to hear about Leon's passing. He was one of the sweetest souls that I have ever known. My memories of him are of a smiling, happy young man. It appears that he carried that into his short adult life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed.
My Thoughts and prayers go out to John and his family. Leon was such a sweetheart in school. I remember that great smile and wonderful sense of humor he had. My deepest sympathy to the Torregrosa family. God Bless you Leon! Sincerely, June
I was shocked by the news, such a great guy, and a true friend I have many memories with the Torregrossa family, we all grew up in the same neighborhood. What fun times. My prayers and heart goes out to all of them. I know Leon is still smiling, and yea Faye I believe he and Lloyd are living it up now.....
