We will be meeting at Champp's this Friday 6/26/09 for 5-7(Happy Hour) ...We have reserved the conference room to the left as you walk in through the front entrance. Please let the waiter know you are with THS class of "99" and they will be glad to assist you in locating us. Please RSVP to this email if you will be there, so we'll know to look for you! Even if you are unable to attend, please email us(just reply to this email) your number and let us know what you can/want to help with and we will be sure to note it at the meeting(we'll probably call you to confirm while we are at the meeting too). Make sure that your contact info is up-to-date on the site too...

Over the past several weeks I know you been getting alot of emails saying to contact this person or contact that person...and you're probably thinking WTH? Well I'd like to assure you that no matter who you contact on the "planning committee" for our reunion, your ideas, concerns, questions etc.. will be addressed. We are working "collectively" to make this thing happen. Now with that being said:

I would like to encourage ANY and ALL of you that are interested in "helping" with the planning in ANY way to do so...No contribution is too Big or too Small! ...and no I'm not crying as did "Hilary Clinton" while campaigning for presidency...LOL but I would like to say "We need ALL your help and cooperation!" Things are going to move fast, but please know that we have your best interests and "finances" at heart as we plan this "Eloquent "yet "Economical" event!

I've seen alot of pictures and have heard alot about a few of the reunions that have taken place...all I keep thinking is "Puleeze we will show them how to party!" I'm sooooo EXCITED and I know that you are too!

Sooo now I'm thinking Discounts, Discounts, Discounts! Please send us the contact information for anyone that you know is not registered on the site and you will receive $1/per person off your 'reunion' fees!

All out of town persons are strongly urged to contact us ASAP to let us know that you will be attending the reunion. This will help us to know exactly what we need when negotiating hotel room rates for you!

I want to say that I am very impressed with the recent email sent out concerning the meeting coming up. I love the outline!! I surely wish I could be there, but hoping Missy will bring her laptop so we can webcam or chat through Facebook. I am glad that this reunion is actually gonna happen. I hope for some fun times to get to see old friends. A good time which means having conversations with people who are not piss at drunk if you get my drift = )

It is official, all plans regarding your “10 year Class Reunion” have been finalized…All that’s missing is your support and cooperation!!! Below you will find IMPORTANT details relating to the reunion! No better place to get started other than answering the question everyone has been asking “How Much?”

**Fees** Please locate the “10 Year Reunion” tab located on the class website. Note the fees for the
Reunion is as follows:
$70 per Alumnus/Alumna
$100 Alumnus (Alumna) w/ non- Alumni guest

You will be able to start paying your fees on Friday 7/3/09. ALL fees are due no later than August 7, 2009! FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE!!! Only under extenuating circumstances will this be waivered.
To pay your fees through our class website please follow these directions:
Locate the “10 Year Reunion” tab located on the left side of our class website.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the “ITEMS FOR SALE” heading.
Make a “reunion” ticket selection.
Select quantity needed and click CONTINUE
Click Continue again…
You will then be prompted to make a payment using PayPal:

Hi Everyone,

As you all should know by now, the cost of the reunion is $70 per Alumnus/Alumna and $100 for Alumnus/Alumna with a non-Alumni guest. We are now excepting payments at this time. To make it a little easier on you, you are able to make a $50 deposit that will be due by 07/24/09, which is non-refundable. Under certain circumstances will this be waivered. The remaining balance due should be paid by 08/07/09. If paying full amount all at once, payment is due no later than 08/21/09. After 08/21/09, your only option is to pay at the door on the day of the reunion. If paid at the door, it will be $85 per Alumnus/Alumna and $115 for Alumnus/Alumna with a non-Alumni guest. I wanted to remind everyone that is coming to the reunion to go to the "10 Year Reunion" link and register. For those of you that have already registered, please note that 2 new questions have been added to assist us in planning. Please edit your registration info and let us know how many children will be attending "Family Day" with you and your "Shirt" size.

Also, please click on the "Song Wishlist" and let us know what songs you would like played at the reunion.

You will also be happy to know that the issue with faulty payments has been fixed..YAY! Please do not wait until the last minute to pay...you will not get the most out of your money if you do. We need to order shirts, souvenirs, etc... If you wait until the last minute, there is a possibility that we won't be able to get these items in time for you. Once you have registered for the reunion, you will be able to pay via the website. DISCOVER, VISA, MASTERCARD, CHECKS, or MONEY ORDERS are accepted!

Again please make sure that your mailing address is up-to-date!

We have a meeting scheduled for this Friday(7/24/09) @ DJon's @ 6:30 p.m. If you would like to stop by and pay your fees in person, you are more than encouraged to do so!!

WOW...what a difference a day makes!!! I want to thank all of you that have paid!!!! The payments are REALLY rolling in! Hard to compose myself...lol...This event is going to be a HUGE SUCCESS and it's all because of YOU! THANK YOU ...THANK YOU ....THANK YOU!!!

We're so excited that we wanted to offer another incentive for paying early. The first 50 people to pay their fees will have their name automatically entered into a drawing to receive their fees back. The drawing will take place the night of the reunion(Aug. 29, 2009), and of course you must be present to claim your prize! **HINT** 32 classmates paid! DON'T DELAY...PAY TODAY!

Payments

We need to make a correction regarding the due date for fees. We would like you to have your fees paid on or before August 7, 2009 no later than August 14, 2009. I know initially we said before August 21, 2009, but this date is no longer feasible. It would not give us enough time to schedule orders and have them in before the reunion. After August 14, 2009 the fees will change accordingly:

$85 per Alumnus/Alumna

$115 for Alumnus/Alumna with a non-Alumni guest

After August 14, 2009 these fees will remain ($85 per Alumnus/Alumna
$115 for Alumnus/Alumna with a non-Alumni guest) until the night of the reunion.

More on Payments

You may have noticed the link "Paypal" found on the left side of the home page. We are encouraging you to pay your fees using this option. You can pay using a check or your Visa, Master, or Discover card. The processing fees using this option are cheaper for us and the funds are deposited directly into the class checking account.

Meet & Greet
We have changed the Friday (August 28, 2009) 'BYOD' event. This will be held at Avoyelles Cafe http://www.avoyellescafe.com located at 333 Third St(Downtown) from 5p.m - 10p.m. This event will be an "ALUMNI" only affair. You are encouraged to wear some form of white linen or just something white(lol), but it is NOT MANDATORY!

Babysitter
While speaking with the owner of the hotel, I brought up an idea of reserving a MASTER SUITE for classmates that may need a babysitter. She welcomed the idea and I told her that I would let her know by next Wednesday if we wanted to utilize this option. Here's the idea:
We could hire 2 sitters for the night of the reunion from 5:00p.m-1:00p.m. You may have some concerns about leaving your children with strangers, and of course I would too, but I know several licensed sitters and I wouldn't let you leave your children with them if I wouldn't leave my own (sorry for the run-on LOL). We would hire one sitter for the boys and one for the girls. We could plan several activities for them(arts and crafts, movies, swimming etc) I have a friend that's a certified lifeguard and she told me she would gladly help out with the swimming portion. The only stipulation would be that your child already knows how to swim. This would not increase your fees, by any means, but it is contingent upon everyone paying before August 14, 2009. **AGAIN THIS IS ONLY AN OPTION**

THERE IS NO FEE FOR FALCULTY MEMEBERS TO ATTEND THE REUNION, BUT IF YOU CHOOSE TO BRING A GUEST THE COST IS $15 PER PERSON. THIS CAN BE PAID THE NIGHT OF THE REUNION. WE ARE ONLY INVITING FALCULTY THAT WERE AT TARA IN 1999. WE WOULD LOVE TO OPEN THIS EVENT TO OTHER FALCULTY, BUT WE REGRET THAT THIS IS NOT A FEASIBLE OPTION AT THIS TIME.

Hello Everyone,

We hope that you are all doing well. We have added a few options that we would like to inform you about. You can still pay your fees, but as you know the late fees have been added. You can pay these fees up until the night of the reunion. If you choose to pay on or after (Friday)August 28, 2009, we will only accept a credit card payment made through the site, cash, or money orders. ON OR AFTER AUGUST 28, 2009 WE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT CHECKS!

We know that some of you cannot make the reunion, but would like to join us for the two other events. The FRIDAY August 28, 2009 MEET & GREET is open to ALL ALUMNI, as this is a "BYOD" affair. Even though you may not be able to make the reunion, please come and reunite with us durning this event. You can also purchase a FAMILY DAY ticket for $25 for a family of four. This is the only event that you are allowed to purchase an individual ticket for. Which brings up a question that some of you may have. "What if you decide at Family Day or the Meet & Greet that you would like to attend the reunion also..How much?" Here is how it would work: If at the Meet & Greet you decide to attend the events for Saturday 8/29/09. You will pay your dues as normal: $85 per Alumna/Alumnae $115 Alumna/Alumnae + guest. If you purchase just a Family Day Ticket and you decide you would like to attend the reunion also: You will have already paid $25 or the Family Day Ticket, so you would owe $60 if you come alone $90 if you come with a guest, so basically you will have paid the normal fees plus the late fee.

Reminders**

Photos: Do not forget to go and upload your High School photos to the Photobucket account. The login information can be found on the class website home page. You are encouraged to do this even if you will not be in attendance for the reunion.

Songs: The song wishlist will be turned in to our DJ on Wednesday, so please be sure to get your requests in today! Click on the Song Wishlist tab on the left side of the home page.

We hope you are all doing well. WE ARE 7 DAYS AWAY!!!!!!!!! Just wanted to let you know a few things. There will be a photographer present at the Family Day and Reunion. She will be taking random shots at both events and will put those pictures on a cd. She will also be setup the night of the reunion to take single/couple pictures. We will be taking a class picture, but we haven't decided if we will take it at Family Day or at DJon's. We will discuss this at tomorrow's meeting and let you know. We have negotiated a package deal available for purchase the night of the reunion:

Hello THS Alumni,
WE ARE ONLY 3 DAYS AWAY and WE ARE ALL EXCITED!!! If you have any questions/issues that are not addressed in this email please do not hesitate to call or respond. All classmates that have paid can pick up your shirts & bags either Thursday @ DJon’s or Friday @ Avoyelles.
We understand that in this economy, some of you would have liked to attend, but due to other “financial” obligations you are not able to. This is why we offered the purchase of an individual “Family Day” ticket, at such a ‘reasonable’ price. We will have lists of ‘paid’ classmates at Family Day and at the Reunion @ Djon’s. If you are not on one or both of those lists Security will have you to leave!
You may have noticed a few added ticket options:
Reunion Guest Ticket $35
Guest Reunion + Family Day Ticket $50
2 Guests Reunion + Family Day Ticket $75

THESE OPTIONS ARE FOR GUESTS ONLY!! Members of the class of 1999 are not able to purchase any of these tickets. If a class member purchased a ticket for a guest, that guest can only be a person that was not a part of Tara High’s Class of 1999.
“MEET & GREET” (8/28/09) 5:00 p.m. – 10:00p.m.
This event is open to ALL classmates. This is (as you know) a “Buy Your Own Drink” affair. Even if you cannot make the reunion, you are encouraged to at least make this event. We are asking that you wear black, white or a combination of both. You may want to bring your digital cameras as the photographer will not be present at this event.
Family Day (8/29/09) 11:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Please wear your alumni shirts provided to “paid” classmates.
Items to bring:
Lawn chairs and/ or blankets
Your ‘competitive’ spirit
It is Louisiana so, if you care to participate, it would be wise of you to bring your water guns!!!!! We would never want you to not be prepared! LOL
We are planning to play kick ball, and/or volleyball if time and weather permits. If it does rain, we will have a room set up and there are tons of indoor activities.
