Cynthia “Cyndi” Goffman (née Luft), a pharmacist at Roth Pharmacy, died May 6 at age 52. Mrs. Goffman served as president of New Generation at Park Synagogue and helped with fundraising for the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. She was a member of Beechmont Country Club, AIPAC and Orange PTA.

Born in Toledo, Mrs. Goffman graduated from Beachwood High School and The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy. She enjoyed reading, traveling, playing bridge, canasta and mahjongg and hosting parties for family and friends.

Mrs. Goffman is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ira; daughters Rachel of Pittsburgh, Elissa of New York and Kelsey; sisters Lisa Waxman and Julie Luft; and parents Barbara and Alfred Luft.
