Mark Warvariv* - Class Of 1979

Mark Warvariv, 43, [WWHS '79] of Prosperity, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2004. Born April 25, 1961, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Dr. Eugene and Tamara Pozniakiv Warvariv. Mr. Warvariv was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He graduated from Yale University where he earned a degree in biology. He was a partner in Bio-Remediation Technologies Inc. He was an accomplished violinist. Other than his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Dr. Vasyl Warvariv of San Francisco and Taras Warvariv and his wife, Dr. Monica Hauptman, of Tucson, Ariz.; a nephew, Tarik Alexander Warvariv of Tucson; and an extended family and friends. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Andrews Ukrainian Orthodox Church, South Bound Brook, N.J. Burial will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery, Franklin Township, N.J. Hagen-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook, N.J., is entrusted with the service in New Jersey. Arrangements entrusted to Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley
