Danny Ray Stover* - Class Of 1973

Danny Ray Stover, 49, of Eccles, fought a courageous battle with cancer and passed away at his home surrounded by his devoted and loving wife and family. Danny was born Feb. 1, 1955, in Beckley, the son of the late Dennis O. Stover and the late Billie Lou Huguenot Stover. Danny attended Glen White Church of God. He had a passion for golf, he had a love for the outdoors and was a No. 1 WVU fan. Danny graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1973. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Toni' Denise James-Stover; a son, Zachary Gray Stover at home; three stepsons, Lee Andrew James, Andrew Chase James and Wesley Bruce James, all of Temple, Ga.; four brothers, William Stover and wife, Janice, of Bradley, Jerry Stover and wife, Julie, of Fairdale, Barry Stover and wife, JoAnn, of Bradley and Michael Stover and wife, Theresa, of Crab Orchard; a sister, Sharon Stover of Columbus, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Glen White Church of God with Rev. Jesse A. Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Tabor Cemetery. Brothers and brothers-in-law will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call 2 p.m. until time of service Monday at the church.
