Terri Lynn Muovich* (Smith) - Class Of 1976

Terri Lynn Smith, of Edgar Drive, Beckley, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, after a short illness at the University of Virginia Hospital. She was 47 years of age. Born in Beckley on Oct. 25, 1958, she was the precious daughter of Paige Muovich of Cool Ridge and Billie Jo McConnell Muovich of Beckley. Terri Lynn was a 1976 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, a member of Oak Grove Christian Church and was employed by Beitler-McKee Optical of Pittsburgh, Pa. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Flora Muovich; her maternal grandparents, Ira and Opal McConnell; and her father-in-law, Edgar John Smith. Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her parents are her loving husband, David Edgar Smith; two beloved sons, David Brandon Smith and Marilyn of Cool Ridge and Jordan Wesley Smith of Glen Daniel; and three granddaughters, Sydnee Paige Smith, Annistyn Lynn Smith and Bayleigh Matheny. She was the dear sister of Gary Muovich and his wife, Linda, and Cheryl Ann Muovich, all of Beckley, and a special aunt to a nephew, Tanner Paige "Scotter" Muovich. Terri is also survived by her husband’s family, her mother-in-law, Evelyn Smith; brothers and sister-in-law, Tommy and Michael Smith and Debbie Neal, all of Beckley; and many cherished friends, among them her best friend, Debbie Adams. Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Christian Church with Mr. Ken Overdorf officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, beside her beloved grandmother, Opal. Friends may call one hour before service Sunday. Pallbearers will be Michael, Tommy and Danny Smith, Scott Toler, Micah Sisk, Jeff Pack, Phillip Wood and J.D. Taraczkozy.
