KING - Richard Wayne McPherson, 48, [WWHS '76] died Thursday, April 13, 2006. He was born Nov. 10, 1957, in Beckley, W. Va. Surviving are a daughter, Kenzie McPherson, of King; a son, Brandon McPherson, and wife Tyrel of Abingdon, Va.; his parents, S.K. and Mary Helen McPherson of King; and two sisters, Rhonda McPherson Duggins and husband Dwight of King and their son, Cody, and Reva McPherson Halloran and husband Tim of Huntington, W.Va., and their children, Hannah and Cameron. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at Trinity United Methodist Church in King, with the Rev. Lisa Wishon and the Rev. Tim Halloran officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening, April 14, at the church. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 725 W.
