Darell Edward Foley, 47, of Stanaford, died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness. Born Aug. 13, 1957, he was the son of Aileen Murray Foley of Stanaford and the late Emmett Foley. Mr. Foley attended Woodrow Wilson High School and Beckley College. He was a former employee of Blythe Industries in North Carolina and E and B Construction of Beckley. Darell enjoyed being outdoors. He liked to hunt and fish, and in the earlier days, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Foley. Besides his mother, survivors include Deborah Lester of Beckley; a son, Keith Foley of Stanaford; a brother, Robert Foley of Stanaford; a sister, Brenda Ward and husband, Arbie, of Shady Spring; a niece, April McCallister and husband, Samuel, of Cool Ridge; and a nephew, Daniel Ward of Shady Spring. Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel, Beckley, with Pastor Lyle Zickafoose officiating. Burial will follow in Mount View Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before service Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be James "Buster" Bragg, Jerry Lee Cheselka, Robert Kincaid, Josh Scott, Estil McComas Jr. and Jerry Richmond.
