Connie Jean Campbell, 43, [WWHS '77] of Beckley, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, in a local hospital of natural causes. Born December 20, 1958, in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Edith M. Cumiford Fugate. Mrs. Campbell was a housewife and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. She was a member of the Beckley Women of the Moose and a lifetime resident of Raleigh County. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Survivors include her husband, William B. Campbell; a son, William B. Campbell II and wife, Jennifer, of Crab Orchard; a daughter, Misti Campbell at home; a grand-son, Hunter Campbell at home; a sister, Linda Passal of Beckley; a brother, Roger Voies and wife, Judy, of Warrenton, Va.; two nieces, Amber Passal and Brianna Lewallen; special friends, Marita Via, Cindy Lilly Dutra and Janice Gunnoe; and many other friends. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Derrick Tyree, J.K. Tyree, William B. Campbell, II, Travis Conner, Ronnie Roberts and Brandon Pack.
