TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Charles H. “Chuck” Jarrell, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at Titusville, Florida. He was a former resident of Beckley, and a 1977 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He also graduated from both West Virginia University and Concord University in addition to serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army. Chuck was the owner and operator of the ‘Comic Castle’ for 13 years prior to his relocation to Florida in 2003, where he was presently a manager at Ocean Landings Resort in Cocoa Beach, Fla. He is preceded in death by his father, Tom “Foot” Jarrell. Chuck is survived by his daughter, Jenny Jarrell, and his mother, Mary Lou Jarrell, both of Titusville, and his sister Wendy Kline and her husband John, of Matlacha, Fla. Memorial services were held in Florida. Memorial donations in Chuck’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
