Arthur's Story

Arthur William Jenkins III, age 55, of Stanaford Road, Beckley, WV, passed away at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 5, 2017.
Born on February 24, 1961, in Rochester, New York, he was the son of Cornelia Morris Jenkins of Beckley, and the late Arthur William Jenkins Jr.
Billy was a part-time employee of Jenkins Delivery Service in Beckley. He enjoyed golfing in his spare time and regularly attended Memorial Baptist Church in Beckley.
Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his mother, Cornelia "Connie" Jenkins; his brothers, Ardie Jenkins and wife, Leigh Ann, of Beckley, and John Jenkins of Beckley; a sister, Beth Bland and husband, Rusty, of Beckley, nephews, Stephen and Branden Bland and Cory Jenkins; three nieces, Ashley Bland, Taylor Jenkins Wolfe and Logan Hunt; a great niece, three great nephews and a special friend, Dougal Smith, and family of Beckley.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Arthur W. "Billy" Jenkins III, on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at 4 PM at Memorial Baptist Church in Beckley with Dr. James Boyd officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2 PM until 4 PM on Thursday at the church.
