Kris Cozort Green, age 59, of Beckley WV passed away the morning of Sunday, March 24, 2019 at her home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born December 21, 1959 to Elizabeth “Teddy” and Ronald “Glen” Cozort who precede her death. Also preceding her in death are her husband of 26 years Timothy Green and sister Elizabeth “Libby” McKinney.

She is survived by her children including one son, Cutter Austin Green of Kansas City; one daughter, Courtney Green Boyd and her, husband Michael Boyd of Ft. Rucker, AL; three grandsons which were her heart, Forrest, Fischer and Archer. Also surviving her are her twin sister, Kim Martin and her husband, Danny Martin of Beckley WV; sister, Julie Lilly and her husband, Rodney Lilly of Beckley WV. There are many beloved nieces and nephews which include, Todd and Heather Cornett of Shrewsberry, WV, Chris and Megan Boyd of Johnson City, TN, Nicholas Miller of Beckley, WV, Jordan and Leslie Lilly of Beckley, WV, Zachary Lilly and Emma Ball of Beckley, WV, Jay and Michelle McKinney of Windermere, FL, and Jon and Rebecca McKinney of Jacksonville, FL; special great- nephews and niece, Nathan and Ben Miller of Beckley, WV, Charlie Lilly of Beckley, WV, Scotty and Max Cornett of Shrewsberry, WV, Gracie Lee Boyd of Johnson City, TN, Dylan and Evan McKinney of Windermere, FL, and Grant and Lauren McKinney of Jacksonville, FL.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Family and friends are encouraged to attend to celebrate the life of Kris at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
