CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Jack M. Tennant Jr., 43, of 4233 Somerdale Lane, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003, in Beckley. He was born Sept. 29, 1960, in Beckley, the son of Jo Ann Bruster Tennant of Charlotte and the late Jack M. Tennant Sr. Mr. Tennant was a disabled owner and operator of a used furniture business in Matthews, N.C. He attended schools in Raleigh County and North Carolina and was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. Other survivors besides his mother include three brothers, William M. Tennant of Charlotte, Harold J. Tennant of Matthews and Robin L. Tennant of Monroe, N.C.; and a half brother, Steven Ray Bruster of Charlotte. Service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel, Beckley. Friends may call one hour before service on Sunday at the funeral home.
