GALLOWAY, Ohio — Karen Elizabeth O’Neal, 51, of Galloway, Ohio, formerly of Crab Orchard died Saturday, March 21, 2009, at her residence. Born March 16, 1958, at Beckley, she was the daughter of Russell R. O’Neal of Crab Orchard and the late Hazel Ann O’Neal. For many years, Karen attended the Crab Orchard Church of the Brethren. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and West Virginia Institute of Technology. She was employed by the State of Ohio from 1988 until 2008. Survivors include cousins, Don Priddy and wife, Vickie, of Beckley, Larry Priddy and wife, Janie, and Max Priddy and wife, Glenna, of Crab Orchard. She is also survived by an aunt, Barbara Wiseman of Crab Orchard, and other family and friends. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, in Calfee Funeral Home Chapel, with David Shumate officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service Sunday. Pallbearers will be Jim Campbell, Larry Priddy, Max Priddy, Frank Priddy, Scott Priddy and Coleman Priddy.
