Shirley Kay Isom* (Shrewsberry) - Class Of 1970

On Saturday, January 1, 2011, Shirley Kay Shrewsberry ended her journey on earth after battling a long illness and began a new life in heaven. She was the proud mother of three sons Anthony, Andrew, and Adam. She worked as a secretary for Wills-Royster Bookkeeping for 16 years. Shirley enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, singing gospel music, spending time with her wonderful daughters-in-law and grandchildren and giving hope to those without hope. She will be sadly missed by her husband Warren, sons Anthony of Ghent, Andrew and wife Michelle and their three children, Kayla, Eric, and Andrew of Beckley, and Adam and wife Heather and their two children, Brooke, and Bryanna “Annie Kay” also of Beckley. She also made room in her heart and home for another “son” Sydney Sullivan, “granddaughter” Christina Smith, her special dedicated Christian sisters and families: Susie and Tom Smith, Martha and Bobby Webb, Connie and Harold Shrewsbury, and her special sister-in-law Trilla Wills. The family would like to send their deepest thanks to those who assisted in her battle.
