Estel Hiram "Junior" McComas Jr., 50, of Beckley, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. Born November 24, 1961, he was the son of Barbara Wilcox McComas and the late Estel McComas Sr. Junior enjoyed working on antique cars and riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles. He was also an avid gardener. He was a 1979 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and was an electrician. In addition to his father, Junior is preceded in death by his foster brother, Opie Jones Jr. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Barbara McComas of Beckley; sister, Sandra Craddock and husband Tommy of Maple Fork; foster sisters, Marilyn Houck and husband Barry of Norfolk, Va., Pat Jones Bays and husband Johnny of Beckley, Glenda Humphrey and husband Hilen of Fairmont; his faithful companion, “Roscoe”, a Jack Russell Terrier; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Pastor Roger E. Pauley officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may gather with the family Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
