Nicholas Rizzi* - Class Of 1972

Born on November 19, 1953, he was the son of Anna Rizzi, and the late Vito J. Rizzi and the son-in-law of Jack Riggs and the late Catherine Riggs all of Beckley. A 1972 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Nick was a skilled contractor who owned companies in both Durham, NC, and Beckley, WV. He was a master craftsman and his talented workmanship can be seen in many homes in the Beckley area. More importantly, he was a kind and gentle soul who never met a stranger. Nick knew that God and his family were the most important things in life and showed that every day. He was a jokester who could always lighten the mood in any situation. He enjoyed racing, music, and was an excellent cook.
