Pamela Ann Martin-Cook, 61, of Daniels, passed away peacefully at her home during the night of December 6, 2015.

Born the first of five children, she was the daughter of Carrie Martin Hylton and Jewel Edward Martin.

Pam is survived by her son Jason Cook; mother, Carrie Hylton (m. Don Hylton); brothers Thomas Martin, Ronald Martin and Douglas Martin (m. Michelle Martin) and sister Donna Kuhn (m. John Kuhn).

She grew up in Beckley and graduated Woodrow Wilson High School in 1972.

Pam was preceded in her death by her partner Brad Short who passed away in 2006.

In recent years, Pam had returned to the Beckley area to care for her mother and family.

A private family memorial has been held in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be directed to the Raleigh County Humane Society in Beckley.
