David Ray Skyles, 56, of Charleston, passed away at CAMC General Hospital on Sunday, March 20, 2016. David was the son of Paul A. and Anita Skyles of Charleston.

He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley. While attending school he was a super athlete, and was very active in football.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Vicki J. Skyles of Charleston; son, Derrick Ray Skyles of Evansville, Ind.; three grandchildren, Draden, Carter and Bryson; sister, Sheila (Joe) Farris of Charleston, and their children, Paula, Joey and Scott; brother, Kevin (Susie) Skyles of Inez, Ky., and their children, Kristian and Kourtney; aunt, Winona B. Hancock of Suffolk, Va.; and special cousins, Alisa H. Segner and Rich Hancock, both of Smithfield, Va.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, at Southeast Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ollie Parsons officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family requests that donations be made to Southeast Church of the Nazarene, General Fund, 5102 MacCorkle Ave. SE, Charleston, WV 25304.
