Mary Elizabeth "Lib" Forsyth, 85, of Beckley died Jan 13, 1999, in a Beckley hospital after a short illness. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and West Virginia University. She was a retired Raleigh County social studies teacher with 36 years' service, last serving at Beckley Junior High School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Beckley, Women's Club, Beckley, and the West Virginia and Raleigh County retired teachers associations. Surviving; daughter, Dr. Frances Ann Forsyth Warsing of Beckley; grandson, Christopher S. Warsing of Jefferson Township, Mich. Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Beckley, with the Rev. Fred Villinger officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Melton Mortuary, Beckley.
