Linda Sue McNeal Johns 60, of Winter Haven, Florida formerly of Beckley, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness on December 20th, 2020. 

She was born on June 5th, 1960, in Beckley, the loving daughter of the late Bill McNeal and Janet McNeal of Crab Orchard.  Linda leaves behind a brother, Billy McNeal and his wife, Drema of Beckley.

Linda was survived by her former husband, Gene Johns and their children, Eugene “Skip” Johns III of Winter Haven, Billy Austin Johns and Janet Johns of Wildwood, Florida; stepdaughter, April Young and her husband, David and their two children of Stuart, Florida.

Linda was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, Riley Ayden, Aletheia and Elizabeth and her step- grandchildren, Mason and Madison.   She left behind two nieces, Emilee McNeal of Beckley and Ashley McNeal and her husband, Jason Frye and their two daughters, of Shady Spring.  Linda was blessed to have aunts and uncles who loved her dearly and Meredith Cochran as a care giver and friend.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 27th, at 3:00 pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Billy Calhoun will be officiating.  The family will be receiving friends at 2:00 pm.
