BURGLER, MARC PHILIP      2006-12-24

Marc Philip Burgler, May 15, 1981- December 21, 2006, was a beloved son, brother and friend. He was loyal, jovial, could engage in conversation on any topic, easy to confide in, creative with an offbeat sense of humor, sensitive, a computer whiz, and liked playing crazy pranks on friends and relatives. People appreciated his resourcefulness. He could always fix things with duct tape and screwdriver, as well as take things apart. For instance, he could fix anyone's computer virtually from across the country, and he figured out how to turn off the mall escalator when he was a toddler. His friends say he was a class clown trapped in a nerd's mind. He was project coordinator and IT manager at Murphy Marketing Services, and a graduate of Pace University 2006. Please come celebrate his life from 5 pm-9pm on Tuesday, December 26, at Beecher Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY. On Wednesday, December 27, at 10 am, a Memorial Mass will be held in his honor at St. John and St. Mary Church at 15 Saint John's Place, Chappaqua, NY. Instead of flowers, please send donations in the form of a check to Columbia University with a note for the Center for Neuroscience Initiatives (or CNI) and send to: CNI c/o Office of Development, 14 East 60 Street, PH., New York, NY 10022.
