Attended college at NSU in Tahlequah; graduated with B.A. in Psychology in 1987.
Got married to Steven Frank Briscoe in May 1987. Moved to Tulsa and took a job with American Airlines as a staff assistant. We moved a year later to Enid due to Steve's job, but we hated it and came back to Tulsa a year later. I returned to American Airlines in 1989, and was blessed to be admitted into the Apprentice Mechanic program, where I eventually earned my Airframe and Powerplant licenses. I worked as a mechanic for 6 years (1990-1996). Had 1st child in 1990. Divorced in 1991. Remarried to Gregory Alan Conrad in 1993. We had our first child together in Dec 1994. Promoted to a management position as Dock Scheduler in 1996, where I worked for a little over a year. During this time, I had my 3rd child (and Greg's 2nd) in June 1997. In Nov 1997, I made a lateral move in the company to the Maintenance Programs department. I really enjoyed the work and the people I worked with, so I stayed for 12 years. I enrolled in an online Master's degree program through OSU in 2008, and only took 1 or 2 classes a semester. In Oct 2010, I accepted a position in Production as Assistant Manager of B737 Hangar Operations. And in Nov 2011, I returned to Maintenance Programs as manager. I completed my Master of Science degree in Engineering and Technology Management in Dec 2011. In May 2016, I exited a 27-year career at American Airlines and formed my own consulting company, Conrad & Associates Consulting LLC.
My family has been members of Heatherridge Baptist Church since around 1998, and I'm pleased that each of my children have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. :) I still play my flute as part of the music ministry there.
