Tonight we note the passing of veteran broadcaster and media colleague, Mike Nicholson. The 48 year old died on Sunday morning after a long illness which kept him hospitalized for weeks.

He was the father of two.

Mike Nicholson will be remembered as a consummate professional, and a radio broadcaster who harkened back to the classic days of radio.

He become known at the BCB in the 80's and was widely loved and respected for his warm voice and pleasant temperament on the radio.

Mike was also our friend, and a very humorous, yet formal person, a real gentleman, and both his presence and his voice will be missed.
