Let's see...in a nutshell: I earned two bachelor degrees at Western Michigan University; Spanish and Social Work. First real job was on Mackinac Island, Work Project Supervisor at the Grand Hotel for one year, then Assistant Manager for another year.
I moved to Moab, Utah in 1994, where I became a social worker and eventually met my husband Adam, who is a cowboy, born and raised. Now I have "retired" from social work so I can raise up our little cowboys.
We live on a scenic cattle ranch in the high desert in the middle of nowhere, with no available phone service, no cell phone signals and we have to generate our own electricity. I am thankful for satellite internet! We are 34 miles from the nearest town, and our nearest neighbors are over 15 miles away. I help Adam on the ranch when I can, mostly I stay busy with the boys, our garden and peach orchard, hundreds of cows, tens of horses, five sheep, and plenty of dogs and cats. And recently, two cute little goats!
My IM (for yahoo msgr or windows) is melindaredd.
