I attended Michigan State and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. I worked at a few different mental health jobs in Michigan. I met my boyfriend in January, 1998 when he was in Law School at the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State. He asked me to move to North Carolina with him (his home state) when he graduated in December of 1998. In North Carolina I attended East Carolina University and earned a Batchelor's in Special Education, and I taught a Severe/Profound class in an Elementary School for 5 years. Currently, I supervise the staff in 2 Group Homes for women with Mental Retardation, and I do case management for the 12 residents. That keeps me very busy.
When I am not at work I love to read, walk/exercise outside, volunteer at the Humane Society in the pet adoption program, and go to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
I am not sure if I will be attending the reunion because I just went home for my mom's surprise 60th Birthday party. However, I have enjoyed hearing about what everyone is up to on this web site and I welcome hearing from any of you all who would like to get in touch with me.
