DON'T MISS A THING. MAKE SURE YOU SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN THE PAGE
AND SEE IT ALL!

From our classmate Phil Mcguire

I am delighted and proud to be a member of such a great class.

I heard some wonderful stories and parts of stories that it made me think: I propose that we collect these stories for our children and grandchildren. I challenge each of you to write a story about St' Peter's, classmates, things we learned, the reunion or any related stories (lining up for school, bell ringing, spanking machines, an auditorium we couldn't play in, penny candy and milk cartons at recess, parties, romances, disappointments, writing "I will not forget to do my homework" one hundred times, etc.) and send them to me. I could edit them and publish them (at no cost to you). You would retain authorship and all rights to you work. They could be typed, hand wrtitten, on paper, napkins, envelopes, anything that can carry your words to me. I will organize them into a book we can share with each other, family and friends. We have an opportunity to document, on a personal level, what it was like to grow, learn and live together during a vanishing period of American history. There is no one better to write YOUR story than you. Perhaps start by completing an opening sentence like "I remember..."
