Chelsea Ann ( Sipes ) Major passed away peacefully March 30, 2004. Chelsea was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on October 29, 1970. After spending her childhood in North Pole, Alaska she moved to Bellingham and graduated from Bellingham High School in 1988. In 1998 she married her soul mate John Major. Her interests included knitting, crocheting, quilting and reading. She grounded herself within spiritual faith, which also brought her tremendous happiness. Chelsea 's tenacious spirit inspired us all and her sincere compassion touched everyone around her. She is survived by her husband John Major of Sedro-Woolley, parents Frank and Elizabeth Sipes of Bellingham, mother and father-in-law Richard and Louise Major of Seattle, brother Travis Sipes of Fairbanks, Alaska, her sister Holly Sipes of Bellingham, niece Sydney Sipes -Hayse of Bellingham, sister-in-law Julie Major of Sedro-Woolley and her brother and sister-in-law Libor and Chrissie Kristl and nephew Samuel of Everett, numerous family members throughout the world, and her great loves, her dog Blue and her cat Ivan. "When winter arrives, trees and other plants temporarily lose their leaves. But those plants and trees possess the life to send forth new green shoots when spring comes" She was a special gift who will always be with us.
