Darryl L. Moore 78, born in Rock Springs, WY. and a long time resident of Bellingham, WA. passed away peacefully February 22, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his father & mother, Samuel & Eliza Moore. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris (Dori) of 59 years of marriage and their four children, Rick Moore(Ann), Kevin Moore(Carla), Carin Moore Krueger, Daniel Moore(Brenda) and ten grandchildren which gave him much joy. He is also survived by his two sisters, Ruthie Buckner of CA. & Linda Richardson of Chehalis, WA. and many cousins, nieces & nephews. He grew up in Bellingham, WA, graduated from Bellingham High School in 1956, where he developed a passion for the game of baseball and pitched for his school baseball team. He met and married the love of his life at the age of 19. He was a smart, talented and ambitious man. In his younger years he started out as a union carpenter in the construction industry while remodeling several houses in his own time. He loved the great outdoors where his took his family camping, fishing, hiking, backpacking horseback riding and hunting. Some of his best memories are with his wife and children in the mountains. He started his own construction company doing what he loved, creating, designing and building homes. He finally became a grandpa with several of his grandchildren born a few years apart. He loved to spend time with each one whether playing in the backyard, going to sporting games or camping. He also enjoyed traveling, and going ATV’ing in the southern state. He came to love the Lord deeply and we rejoice now that he has gone to be with his Savior. He will be greatly missed, but our memories will remain in our hearts forever.
