I am so very sad to hear about Mary Jo.  She was a delight to know and I enjoyed talking with her a bit at our 50th!  such a beautiful lady with that great smile! My heart goes out to her children and grandchildren..I always followed Facebook to see the great pictures of MaryJo and the family. She sure loved them and was so proud of them.   RIP dear classmate.  Your memory will live on.

Mary Jo, one of my best of friends, passed away in November 2013, just after Thanksgiving and her 70th birthday. She married her 1st love, Bill Rhodes, years after high school and marriages by both.  They were extremely "the happy couple" until Bill fell into bad health (2 double lung transplants), and she was at his side the whole time, along with their loving dogs and cats.  After Bill passed, Mary Jo got the bad news that she had cancer, but fought back hard the losing battle.  I love and miss her, and she's in my prayers every night.

I was so sorry to hear about Mary Jo's passing late last year.  Although I really never knew her personally, she was like a class icon.  Everyone knew her and I remember her smile and laughter.  I am so happy to think that she and was able to marry her first love and they had their last years together.  What a love story -- and now they can be together forever!
