Jennie H. BishopBENNINGTON - Jennie Hall Bishop, 44, of Bennington died July 24, 2000, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center after a brief illness.She was born in Bennington, July 19, 1956, daughter of Texas and Priscilla (Ennis) Hall.

 

She attended schools in Bennington and was a graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School. She later attended Southern Vermont College.

She married Bruce Bishop on Feb. 7, 1991, in Bennington.

At the time of her death, Mrs. Bishop was employed as a counselor in Bennington.

Mrs. Bishop enjoyed gardening and photography, and was a volunteer at the local elementary schools.

Survivors include her husband of Bennington; two daughters, Torri Luce of Provincetown, Mass., and Ashley Bishop of Bennington; a son, Joshua Luce of South Londonderry; her mother of Bennington; three sisters, Kathleen Hall of Lyndon Center, Nancy LaBombard of Bennington and Patricia Olsen of Lanesborough, Mass.; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:15 a.m. at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, and at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A private committal service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
