Walter Parmenter

After graduation I went to school at Middle Georgia Jr. College and graduated from Coastal Carolina. Was fortunate to get drafted into the MLB and played three years for St. Louis in the farm system. Yes, I still love baseball. I've continued to stay involved with the sport with my son, Dylan through Little League, Babe Ruth and and the MAU varsity team. After a twenty-year break I'm back coaching Legion baseball for Post 13.

I met my wife, Connie in North Carolina 27 years ago and we've been married 22 years. Dylan is a MAU senior and will be attending SUNY Oswego and a member of the Lakers baseball program. Lacy will be entering her freshman year at MAU this fall. Lacy also has the competitive gene and looks forward to playing basketball and softball at MAU. Family wise, I'm blessed. My kids still like to hang with us.

My brothers and I have all married and multiplied. Including mom we are 25 Parmenters strong. Family gatherings are loud and crazy, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
