Beverly S. Milner (Carlson)

Obituary

Beverly F. Carlson

Beverly F. Carlson (nee Milner), age 81, formerly of Richboro, passed away on January 9, 2022.

Beverly was a wonderful, loving mother who always made time to help others in need. She was a true animal lover, caring for wildlife as well as her beloved pets. Many of her interests revolved around her love of animals and the outdoors. As an accomplished artist, her favorite subject to paint was wildlife. She always had her camera ready to capture the subject of her next painting. Whether it was for bird watching or inspiration for painting, Beverly and her husband David would frequently take long walks, often with walking clubs of which they were members. Raised in Eddington, PA she later resided in Richboro, PA for many years, eventually moving to Millsboro, DE where she and David enjoyed their residence by the Indian River. They also spent time at their Winter home in Florida.

Beverly retired from her position as secretary of Poquessing Elementary School, after many years of retail entrepreneurship. She enjoyed spending time with family and was actively involved in the lives and activities of her three granddaughters.

She is the beloved wife of David J. Sr., loving mother of David Jr., Dennis (Carla), and Renee, devoted grandmother of Kierstan, Lindsay, and Alexis, dear sister of Barbara (Dick) Eastburn, Roger (Beverly) Milner, and the late Charles "Gayle" Milner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched and remembered as we pass by her lovely paintings which will always adorn our homes.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cheer Center in Delaware are requested. (https://www.cheerde.com/long-neck-center)
