Joan E. Kaiser (Flatch)

Joan Elizabeth Flatch, a resident of Warrington since 1975, passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her children. She was 76.

Joan was the wife of the late Charles V. Flatch Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, Joan was the daughter of the late Frederick and Florence Kaiser.

Joan was employed as an office assistant with Trico Metal Products since 1998. She enjoyed volunteering for 23 years as the registrar for U.S.A. Diving for the state of Pennsylvania.

In her free time, Joan enjoyed hand embroidery, loved to watch all sporting events, and was an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan. Known as Joanie too all of her friends and colleagues, she will always be remembered for her quick wit, laughter and love of all things chocolate. Joan was the best Mother and Grammy ever.

Joan is survived by a son, Charles Vincent Flatch Jr. (Bobbi); a daughter, Donna Maria Booth (Erik); and three grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Frederick E. Kaiser, and a sister-in-law, Gale Hewitt. She was especially grateful for the many years of close friendship of the entire Pritz Family.

Joan's funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington where the family will receive friends after 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
