Virginia Sue Mangone -- Virginia Sue Mangone, 71, of Bridgeville, died Friday, June 22, 2012, at her residence. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of the late Verna Oettel and Harry Carter, she was the bookkeeper for Peninsula Cleaners in Seaford. She was a member of the Arabian Horse Association. Virginia is survived by her husband, Joseph V. Mangone; a son, Jeffrey Alloway of Seaford; a sister, Kathleen Powers of Ithaca, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King streets, Seaford, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
