Frances Gertrude (Selinsky) Haldeman

Mt. Laurel - Frances Gertrude (Selinsky) Haldeman of Mt. Laurel, NJ peacefully passed away on April 7, 2022 at the age of 78.

She was a graduate of West Chester University in 1965 with a BS degree in education. She continued her education and graduated from Temple University in 1968 with a master's degree in education.

Fran began her career as a teacher working in several districts and after twenty-five years she retired from Mt. Holly School District as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant. She positively impacted the lives of countless children and their families.

Fran was an avid reader, a student of Astrology and enjoyed needlepoint. Her greatest joys in her life were her children and grandchildren. She instilled in all of her children the love of pets, a great understanding of the importance of education and the idea that helping others was one of the highest callings one could have in life.

Survived by Jason (Laurie) Haldeman of Glassboro, NJ, Randy Haldeman (Kevin McFarland) of Pottstown, Katherine Haldeman (Eliana Cotter) of Cherry Hill, N.J., grandchildren Jenna (Michael) Julian and Justin Alvarado, and Winston her beloved cat.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Monday April 25, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntington Valley, PA. Officiating will be Chaplain Scott Landes.
