William P. Brucks

William Peter Brucks Mantua, NJ William Peter Brucks of Mantua, NJ passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 William was born on November 22, 1931 to John and Agnes Brucks. He graduated from Bensalem High School and Drexel University. He was employed as an Engineer with DuPont Chemical and Raytheon until he retired. His true passion was in farming. He enjoyed making things grow and always had a vegetable garden in his yard, as well as, grew a variety of grains on a farm near the Jersey Shore for over 15 years. He is survived by 4 daughters: MaryAnn Wall, Clare Wadsworth, Sally Brucks, Joanne Paul and a son: John Brucks. William also has two surviving siblings, brother: John Brucks (& wife: Ruth) and sister: Mary Agnes Smith. He was predeceased in death by his parents, brother: Bernard Brucks and his eldest son: William H. Brucks. Bill was best known for his love of the sea and was an avid oceanic fisherman. He spent many years fishing the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. A Graveside Service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday November 4, 2015 in Eglington Cemetery, Kings Hwy., Clarksboro.
