James R. Paulus of Bensalem, Pennsylvania

January 12, 1941 - October 15, 2018

James R. ( Bob ) Paulus, age 77, of Feasterville, PA., passed away on October 15, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Janet Paulus and is survived by his son, Michael Paulus, his stepdaughter, Bethann Rivello, his sister, Nancy Gallagher, and granddaughters , Ashley and Samantha Hecht. Bob loved nothing more than spending time at his mountain house in Narrowsburg with close friends and family. He would spend hours fishing in the river with his close friend, Rick. Bob and Janet could be found at the mountain house quite frequently at any time of the year. Bob and Janet enjoyed the ritual dinners every Friday night at Brady's and the Buck Hotel. Bob also could be found with Charlie Vogt at Erwin's Country Kitchen, every morning at 5 am. Erwin's was Bob's stomping ground and was always the place to go with friends for many years on end. Bob was very family oriented and enjoyed family vacations with his stepdaughter and granddaughters, and his wife, Janet. He enjoyed relaxing on the river with his wife and family at the mountain house in Narrowsburg. Michael Paulus, his son, and Bob, would partake on a bowling league for many years, and also enjoyed watching the Phillies and Eagles games together as well as any sport. They also worked together for many, many years, for they did have a father - son relationship. Nancy Gallagher, his sister, was very devoted to her brother and was always helping him. Bob lived a very eventful life, one full of happiness and laughter, and has inspired many people. He left an impact on everyone's life, and he always knew how to brighten up a room. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 3 to 4 pm at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd. Feasterville, PA 19053 (215 - 354 - 0085), where Bob's life will be celebrated at 4 pm precisely. In lieu of flowers, donations may be in Bob's memory to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org.)
