Walter R. 'Butch' Goodwin of Penns Grove, N.J. died Monday, July 24, 2017, at Carney's Point Care Center. He was 74.

Walter was born in Philadelphia and was a lifelong resident of Bensalem before moving to Penns Grove, N.J. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was employed as a Mechanical Assembler with Peca and retired after ten years of service.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Agnes (Genttner) Goodwin, and his sisters, Agnes Leckner, Florence Arbeiter, Jean Douglass and Joan Adaire.

He will be sadly missed by his sister, Dolores Dessalet; his brother-in-law, Ralph Douglass; and many nieces and nephews.
