Joseph W. Buscher - Class Of 1966

Joseph W. Buscher

Joseph W. Buscher Jr., of Bensalem, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 75 years old. Joseph was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam war, where he received a Purple Heart. After serving, he worked as a manager for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor for 32 years. Joseph was a member of the Pennsylvania Yacht Club, and a Post Commander with the Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed boating and golfing as well. Joseph will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Kathleen, his children, Rebecca Hart (Scott), Thomas Buscher (Emily), his grandchildren, Sloane Hart and Wesley Hart, his siblings, Constance Foust (Tim), and Donald Buscher (Helen), as well as many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Friday, December 15th from 2:00-3:30 PM followed by his Service at 3:30 PM. Interment will take place at a later date at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joseph’s name to the Women’s Animal Shelter, https://www.womensanimalcenter.org/, or the Disabled American Veterans, https://www.ihelpveterans.org/.

Edward MacAdams (1966)

Remember Joe well. He helped me get my 1st job when I got out of the Navy.

He always thought my name was Nick Adams up until then.

Phil Denny (1966)

I lived about six houses away from Joe on Kingston Way.  We had a good time going to each others home and hanging out.  Joe was a class act.  I have good memories, RIP Joe.
