Charles Frank - Class Of 1966

Charles Frank

Charles W. Frank, 66, of Nottingham, passed away on Dec. 23 at his home.

He was the husband of Linda Yocom Frank. Born in Abington, Pa., he was the son of the late Carl and Frances Benner Frank. He graduated from Bensalem High School Class of 1966, and Millersville University Class of 1972. He taught industrial arts at Avon Grove High School from 1972 until he retired in 2002. His expertise in teaching included architectural drawing, auto, wood and metal shops. He was a member of the Boy Scouts Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed the traveling, outdoors and wildlife, especially Alaska, where he salmon fished, and photographed the eagles, wildlife and scenery. He also enjoyed four-wheeling at his mountain home in Clearfield County, Pa. Charles collected Model A antique automobiles and traveled with the Crazy A's in Delaware.

A celebration of life service will be held at Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren (1392 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville) at 11 a.m. on Jan. 3. Friends may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Special Olympics, 1133 19th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036.
