Family day

I really want a family day where we can just relax and enjoy meeting each other's families. At the ten year, we had a family day at Mills Park in Bryant. I'd really like to do that again. We could grill burgers and hot dogs and let the kids play on the playground or even swim in the pool if it's still warm enough.

I will say that if there is not a family day where I can bring my husband and daughter, I will not be coming. I realize lots of people have grown kids, but there are lots of us who have small children as well. We will have plenty of time Saturday night to visit without the kids. Please give us ONE activity in which we can include our kids. Anyone else feel the same?

Shelly,
I think you have hit on a very good point.  The committee is planning on having a family event.  One for you to bring your spouse and children too.  It is on the radar and your concerns will be addressed at the next meeting.  Thank you for voicing your opinion and encourage everyone else to do the same.  This is a reunion for all and the more input we can have the better we can plan the event.
P.S. I will use any excuse to see Merry Megan.  She is the sweetest baby I know.  Always smiling. Kiss her for me.

 Hey Tina and Shelley,

Count me in on the family day.  My husband and I love to do activities with our kids.
