David was one of the sweetest guys I ever met in all my life both High School and my adult life. You will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Michael David McGee, 35, of Benton went home to be with his Lord on Friday, February 22, 2008. He was born on March 19, 1972. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles McGee.

Survivors include his wife Greta Woolf McGee, soon to be born son Michael David Warren McGee, his mother and stepfather Karen & Roger Stanton, his father and stepmother Mike & Joyce McGee, his brother Shane McGee, his nieces Paris Caldwell & Harlee McGee, his nephew Canaan McGee, his grandparents Virginia Osment, Houston Brazil, and Norma McGee, and lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was a 1990 graduate of Benton High School and a member of the Benton Panther football team. He was employed by Infant Formulas Inc. He was a member of Benton First Assembly where he worked the sound booth on Wednesday nights.

Visitation will be Sunday, from 2-4, at Ashby’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, at 10am, at River of Life Assembly of God, 9800 Nash Lane in Mabelvale with burial at Pinecrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Pettit, Billy Mathys, Larry H. Mathys, Butch Jones, Greg Woolf, Larry E. Mathys, Jeff Johnson, and Sam McCampbell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Michael David McGee Memorial Fund at any Arvest Bank location.

Family Comments: David made friends with everyone he met. He lived life according to God’s word. His family and friends meant everything to him. He never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He will be greatly missed.
