Dave Chrestensen:
I have been self-employed for nearly 25 years. Today I am the president of a financial planning firm, Financial Clarity Group in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition, an associate and I own Advanced Medical Centers LLC, a firm that works in commercial real estate development within the medical field.
My wife Susan, of over 15 years, is my constant companion and best friend, and the one who keeps me on course. Together we have been through both good times and bad, but the good has far out-weighed the bad. When Susan and I married, I inherited two lovely step-daughters, who today are both beautiful women and productive members of society. I can't wait for the next 15 years, because they can only get better!
Just this past January my wife and I became grandparents for the first time. My older daughter Kyla and her husband Eric brought Owen Patrick into the world a month early. Today he is still ahead of schedule, and we are so proud of him and his parents.
My younger daughter, LeaAnn, just passed her finals and is now a third-year law student at DePaul University. She and her husband Nick moved to Chicago for school, after she served as an officer in the USAF and did a "tough-for-her-Mom-and-me-to-take" tour in Baghdad. Nice to see them both grow up, but now I really feel old! |
