After graduating from BHS I attended OSU, left after a year and worked in Cleveland for two years. Was hired by Northwest Airlines in 1969 and moved to Washington D.C. While living there I met my husband, finished my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Maryland. We left D.C. to head out west and landed in Santa Barbara, CA. While we were there my husband started the Balance Bar company. We continued our search for the perfect place to live and ended up in Scottsdale, AZ. After 8 years we missed being by the water and headed to Hawaii. We were in Hawaii for 8 years and are now back in Scottsdale to be closer to family. When we are not on land we are on our 60' foot catamaran. We had it built in Australia two years ago and spent the last two years periodically traveling the South Pacific with our crew and friends. We've moved the boat to the Caribbean and explored that part of the world on monthly trips with our crew and friends this winter. I have had a remarkable life with a fabulous family, friends and experiences. It just keeps getting better!! |

Loved high school. Didn't study hard enough......but, fortunately, that came later. One highlight was Alice Bishop and I sneaking out of my bedroom window to go drive around Berea in the middle of the night. Geez.....were we desperate or what?? |
