After high school, I went to Tri-C and started my college career. I finished an AA degree in Business, and was off to Kent State to complete a degree in Education and graduated in 1972. There were not any teaching jobs for me after graduation, so after taking a year off, I went back to Kent and finished a Masters degree. I accepted a position with the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) in 1975, which I worked for 3 years and decided to go back to school so I could work in higher education at some point. I completed a doctoral degree at West Virginia University (Go Mountaineers!), went back to work for WVDE for 5 more years and then in 1985 I went to Marshall University as a faculty member. I spent the next 16 years at Marshall as a faculty member and in administration. My last five years at Marshall was as Dean of the College of Education and Human Services.
In 2002, not remembering what the weather was like in NE Ohio, I accepted a position at Kent State and found myself back in cold weather! I served as Dean of one of Kent’s seven Regional Campuses for about three years! After 12-13 years of administration (Marshall and Kent) I decided to return to the classroom. I'm having a lot of fun. I now teach Educational Psychology and Educational Technology courses for teacher education students and various computer courses.

The class web sites has been a lot of fun and has put me in contact with so many classmates. I’ve really enjoyed it. Thanks for all your ideas and contributions!
