In Memory

Richard Baggs

From Ruth Otterson Baggs:

Richard suffered a massive stroke on June 30, 2020 while driving home from the beach, yes he was driving. Jennifer was able to get the car stopped in front of a Fire Station.  Thanking God no one else was hurt, we hit no other vehicles. He passed away peacefully Sunday, July 5th at 6:07 a.m. at the Bradenton Hospice House (Tidewell Hospice) with Jennifer and I at his side.  At least we were having fun up until the end.  If you are so inclined, I request that donations be made in his name to the: Bradenton Hospice House.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Rich. He was always so energetic and his positivity and smile could light up any room. May God bring comfort to you and your family. Ray and Jane

So sorry to hear this.  Rich was not only a '67 classmate but he was our backyard neighbor.  He was always cheerful and nice to me and my brother Ken.  I'm sorry for your loss

I moved to Berea from Bowling Green in my Sophmore year and left after my Junior year due to my fathers employment with the Federal Government. From the start Rich reached out and was always a friend. Much appreciated God Bless the Bagg's family.

Didn't know Richard we'll but remember him as a guy with lots of energy for life.  Ruth I can't help but feel close to your experience of sudden loss.  My husband and life partner in marriage for 47 years passed away several weeks ago from a fast growing brain tumor.  Thinking of you and your family as you chart a. new course.

Ruth, I am so sorry to hear of dear Rich...I was only in Berea a short time unlike many others who grew up with you and Rich but I have such fond memories of you both and especially remember your kindness and joy....Be well and happy as best you may. Roger Voisinet
